Drastically Increase Your Chance of Getting Pregnant This Month With This Simple Tip

Increasing your chance of getting pregnant this month

Most women believe they should have intercourse on the day that they ovulate for the best chance of getting pregnant.

While this is technically true, most women don’t realize that they can greatly increase their chances of getting pregnant if they have intercourse on the days leading up to ovulation.

Why You Should Have Sex On the Days Leading Up to Ovulation

Your egg is able to be fertilized for 12-24 hours after being released from your ovary. Sperm is able to live for 24-72 hours inside of you. So if you ovulate early, there’s a good chance that your partner’s sperm will still be alive and able to fertilize your egg.

A study published in the New England Journal of Medicine found that the window for your egg to be fertilized closes the day after you ovulate. If you miscalculate when you ovulate, then you’ll miss your opportunity to get pregnant.

Experts recommend having regular intercourse for five days before you ovulate to increase your chances of getting pregnant.
